ANIMATION
MUSIC CARTOON
This animation was a college assignment using After Effects. The main goal for this project was to have the animation to be timed with music. The simple shapes and lines were animated to match the rhythm with the music. The graphic style resembles a classic cartoon show from the 90's.
ONLY A DREAM
Photoshop and After Effects were used to create the illusion of a child like drawing of a simple figure, giving a dream illusion of fantasy and serenity. The challenge was getting the water ripple done right. The voice over work was done in Audition and it was all put together and edited with Premiere Pro.
ANIMATED GIFs
These are samples of animation techniques I learned in college. This collection of GIF animations shows an array of art styles which demonstrates a sense of exploration within the artist. There is a use of different techniques: vector art and digital painting. Most of the animation techniques are through frame-by-frame while others are animated through rotoscope and it's done in Photoshop.
THE SON OF A SHEPHERD
The challenge was using the frame-by-frame animation technique. This was done mostly in Photoshop. I wanted to make another rotoscope project, this time with a much faster and smoother frame rate.
